family-centered support for you & your teen

Family involvement is the most powerful ingredient in successful therapy for teens

That's why I prioritize including parents, caregivers, and other important loved ones when I work with teens who grapple with emotional pain and behavioral challenges.

My work with teens includes:

  • Parent/caregiver Meetings

You are irreplaceable to your teen, even in moments when it does not feel that way. That is why I prioritize building a trusting and collaborative relationship with parents and caregivers. These meetings offer a nonjudgemental space to receive support, voice your concerns, and explore adjustments.

  • Individual therapy for your teen

One-on-one meetings with your teen help me to grow a trusting relationship, discover the pain underlying mental health symptoms, practice coping skills, and prepare for our parent and family sessions.

  • Family Therapy

Family members deeply care for each other. Sometimes, outside stress, ineffective communication, or unresolved wounds get in the way of that care being felt. Our family meetings will focus on overcoming such barriers to foster a sense of safety and connection, strengthen your bond, and ensure everyone's needs are met.

  • Case Management & Collaboration

I include case management to leverage the support and resources in your family's life and community. This may encompass referrals to specialized services, collaboration with educators and healthcare professionals, and advocacy efforts.
